Wyoming, MI, formerly of Allegan, died at his home Friday, October 23, 2009. Shawn was born January 24, 1979 in Allegan, the son of Michael L. and Robin S. (Pensinger) Vaughn. He had been employed at Art Mulder and Sons Trucking in Holland for more than six years. He was a member of the South Side Street Cars and loved working on, and driving, his camaro. Surviving are his fiancee', Lydia F. Ronda; 1 son, Alexander Robert "Alex" Pensinger; father and stepmother, Michael and Carolynn Vaughn of St. Louis, MO; mother, Robin Vaughn of Allegan; grandmother, Joyce Green of Poplar Bluff, MO; 2 brothers and their wives, Phillip and Tina O'Flynn of Martin and Michael and Amanda Vaughn of Anderson, IN; 2 sisters, Jessica Stratton of Poplar Bluff, MO and Kristin and Jon Davy of Anderson, IN; several nieces and nephews; parents-in-law, Ted and Anna DeBoer of Wyoming; his beloved dog, PeeWee. Friends may meet with the family from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. Pastor Jeff Stevens officiating.
