Sharon Kay Crisman, 73 of Holland, Michigan, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Holland Hospital. Born January 25, 1948 in Allegan, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Betty (Wilson) Town and the wife of the late Richard Crisman. Sharon was a woman of few words, but everyone knew that when she did speak, she meant everything she said. She may not have said much, but she always paid close attention to the goings on around her. Some would say that Sharon had a stubborn streak, but that kept her strong to handle everything she went through in her life. As she aged, Sharon also showed her playful side. To prove how hip she was, she experimented with some hair dye and made her hair a beautiful shade of blue. Along with coloring her hair blue, Sharon also enjoyed her first manicure within the last few years. Cooking was a favorite pastime of Sharon's and she loved to make homemade noodles and enjoyed showing her granddaughter how to make them also. She also loved listening to Patsy Cline on the radio. Sharon had a strong sense of family, and her family meant the world to her. She left a lasting and endearing impression on them all. Left to cherish their memories are her children, Terry Burkhead, Mike (Ruth) Burkhead, and Gilbert Burkhead; her stepchildren and their families, Richard (Corrine) Crisman, Rhonda, Renda, Robin, and Roxann; her grandchildren, Karla Smith (Richard Rose), Michael Veldhuis, Shane Burkhead, Shawn Burkhead, Rick Stienke, Terry Burkhead Jr., Dustin Cox, and Brayden; many great-grandchildren; and her brother-in-law, Roger (Bunny) Crisman. A special thanks to Karla Smith and family for taking care of Sharon in her later years. Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karla Stienke. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Service Details.
