of Allegan, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Allegan Country Estates. Mrs. Knobloch was born February 6, 1934 in Allegan, the daughter of Acel and Ila (Stewart) Hewitt. Sharon graduated from Allegan High School in 1951, she was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hopkins. She loved her Lord, her family, her flower garden, and she was an accomplished organist. Surviving are her 3 children; Linda and Fritz Spreitzer, Mike Knobloch and Scott and Shelly Knobloch all of Allegan, 5 grandchildren; Renae and Jeff Morrie, Erica and Doug Mandrick, Autumn Knobloch, Mandy and Mike Matthews, and Holly Knobloch, 5 great grandchildren; Caleb, Mckenna, Jackson, Claire and Rhys, 1 sister, Shirley and Grant Goodsell of Allegan, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her best friend, Evelyn Doublestein-Gorby. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin "Knobby" in 2005. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, March 24, from 5-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hopkins. Pastor Donald W. Seelhoff will officiate. Interment at the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wings of Hope Hospice.
