Sarah M. Aldrich, 85 of Allegan, died Thursday, October 3, 2002 at Metropolitan Hospital, Grand Rapids. Mrs. Aldrich was born November 7, 1916 in Valley Township, MI the daughter of Andrew and Mable (Earle) Hodge. She was a member of the United Methodist Church for over 50 years and active in the church guild, the Victor Rebekah Lodge #358 for over 50 years where she held several offices including the Past Noble Grand. Surviving are one son, Alan Aldrich of Allegan, and 1 sister, Leah Windon of Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, William on January 31, 2002, 2 sisters, Vera and Winnie, and 3 brothers, Norman, Merton, and Jr. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 pm at the GORDEN FUNERAL RESIDENCE, Allegan Chapel, where services will be held Monday 11:00 am. Pastor Joseph Spackman officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church, Allegan.
