Monterey Twp., Hopkins, MI, died Thursday, July 5, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Rowan was born November 5, 1960 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of Jack and Mildred (WestVeer) Vernon. Surviving are her husband, Larry; 3 children, Larry Rowan Jr. and Amanda Welch of Hastings, Dan and Amber Rowan of Shelbyville, and Jenny Rowan and Jesse Vaughan of Allegan; 9 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Mike and Phyllis Vernon of Grand Rapids and Steve and Kim Vernon of Caledonia; 4 sisters, Connie and Bob VanElst and Jackie and Ron Cash, all of Grand Rapids, Roseanne and Terry VandenToorn of White Cloud, and Pam and Jim Beach of Jenison, sister-in-law, Kathy Vernon.. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John and Robert. Friends may meet with the family from 1 p.m. Sunday until time of service at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Interment at a later date in Rest Lawn Memorial Park, Grand Rapids.
