of Allegan, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at her home, surrounded by her family. Lee was born November 7, 1943 in Allegan, the daughter of Ryar and Iilene (Ferris) Baker. She worked various jobs in the Allegan area including: Sears, J.C. Penny, Old Kent Bank, and the Allegan Medical Clinic. She helped her husband build their log home. Surviving are her husband, Jim, 3 children, James H. Jacobs, Jeffrey V. and Nancy Jacobs, and Cindy D. Jacobs all of Allegan, 13 grandchildren, her mother, Iilene Akerly of Bloomingdale, 2 brothers, Bert and Mary Baker of IL , and Ryar Baker of Plainwell, 2 sisters, Pearl and Bill Hemboldt of Allegan, and Janet Michel of Kalamazoo, several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Merson Church, 3313 102nd Ave., Gobles. Pastor Alan Carson Sr., will officiate.
