Ruth Arlene Eshbaugh, 86 of Plainwell, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2022 at Wings Home in Allegan, Michigan. Born August 24, 1936 in Delton, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Fern (Soloman) Stenger. She spent many years working at Plainwell Pines Nursing Center before retiring. Once retired she was able to spend more time cultivating her beautiful plants, inside and outside, proving what a green thumb she had! In her spare time, you could find Ruth crocheting, reading or just enjoying her family. Enjoying her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren brought true meaning to Ruth's days. Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Janet Earle and Scharon (Mark) Rose; her sister, Virginia Grimm; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, James A. Earle; her second husband, Charles R. Eshbaugh; her son, James Lee Earle; and her siblings, Dorothy Neal and Jim Stenger. A Graveside Service will be held privately in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Ruth's name to Wings Home or Wings of Hope Hospice (mailing address for either: 530 Linn Street, Allegan, Michigan 49010).
