Allegan, MI, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Dangremond was born July 25, 1919 in Dunningville, MI, the daughter of Walter and Beulah Mae (Cummings) Hellenthal. She was a graduate of Allegan High School, Class of 1936. She had worked as a bookkeeper in her husband's business, Al's Service Garage, in Allegan, from 1944-1974. Surviving are 2 children and their spouses, Jack and Sue Dangremond of Allegan and Arlene and Ed Kovalcik of Gobles; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen E. Dangremond; son, Dr. Allen Dangremond; and brother, Albertus Hellenthal. There will no visitation. Graveside services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Mr. David Reed officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dollars for Scholars.
