74, of Plainwell, formerly from Allegan, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Allegan General Hospital. Ruth was born June 24, 1938, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Richard and Helen (Andrews) Carroll. Ruth is survived by her children: Robbin (Tim) Ritz, Kim (Jerry Bierema) Kalchik; her grandchildren: Charles Schultz, Ben (Sara) Schultz, Chris Ritz, Greg Ritz, Amanda Landstra, Cory Landstra, Rich (Karie) Bierema; her great-granddaughter Alivia; her brothers: Jack Carroll, Bob (Lorraine) Carroll; and her dear friend Dovie Christman. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents and her three sisters: Louise, June, and Caroline. In accordance with Ruth's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements made by Gorden Funeral Residence.
