93, of Allegan, went to be with The Lord, January 29, 2013 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Ruth was born April 13, 1919, in Cheshire Township, the daughter of Lester and Lelia (Powers) Brindley. Ruth was married to her late husband Willard in 1940, who passed away on July 9, 2000. Ruth was a homemaker for most of her life, other than the eleven years she worked at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility, which coincidentally was the same number of years she was a resident of that facility as well. Ruth is survived by her twin sons: Richard (Marge) French and Roger French; her grandchildren: Steve (Angela) French, Lisa French Biffle; her great-grandchildren: Clint, Morgan, Jordyn, and Megan; her sister Norma Farmer; her sister-in-law Mary Lou Brindley; several nephews and nieces, cousins and loved ones. Friends may meet with the family on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 10-11:00 A.M. at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, with A Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Curry will be officiating. Interment will be at Rowe Cemetery in Cheshire Township.
