Frostproof, FL, formerly of Hopkins, MI, died Saturday, November 17, 2007 in Florida. Mr. Spahn was born April 28, 1916 in Hopkins Twp., the son of Edward and Viola (VanDuine) Spahn. Surviving are his wife, Dorothea "Dort" (Healy); 1 brother and his wife, Darrell and Faye Spahn of Washington; 1 niece, Claudia Kilburn. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jewell, in 1988. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Mr. Trayton Lull officiating. Interment Maplewood Cemetery, Hopkins Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hopkins United Methodist Church or Hopkins Community Reformed Church.
