Roy J. Pickett, 44 of Hamilton, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at his home. Roy was born March 30, 1961 in Kennett, MO the son of James and Bonnie (Smith) Pickett. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish, Allegan. He had worked at Heinz Company in Holland was also an Independent Distributor of Herbalife for the last 12 years. Surviving are his wife, Carol (Schaub); 1 son, Daniel of Hamilton; his mother, Bonnie Pickett; 2 brothers, Eugene Pickett and Jimmy Pickett; 1 sister, Barbara Williams; grandparents, Mattie Schaub, and Clifford & Jane Knott; mother-in-law and her husband, Rebecca & Marvin DeWitt; father-in-law and his wife, Larry & Delores Schaub; 2 brothers-in-law, Robert Schaub and Larry Schaub II; 2 sisters-in-law, Tammy Sobkowiak and Mary DeJonge; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 5-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where a rosary will be recited at 5:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Allegan. Rev. Fr. Jerome M. Heyman, O.S.A. celebrant. Interment Brookside Cemetery, Heath Township.
