Roxanne L. Belden, 52 of Trowbridge Township, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at her home in Allegan after a courageous battle with cancer. Roxanne was born March 19, 1964 in Allegan, the daughter of Donald and Angela (Coffey) Belden. She was a Class of 1982 Graduate of Allegan High School. After high school, she spent many years working at Robert Shaw in Holland and most recently the Kalamazoo Gazette. Roxanne had a big heart and when it came to animals, it was even bigger; she loved all animals. She enjoyed being surrounded by nature, watching the animals and mushroom hunting. Her kind of music was that good old rock and roll. It would get her hands beating like a drummer or up on her feet dancing. Roxanne had a wonderful spirit and good nature. She was kind and generous, even during her most difficult days. She fought the good fight and now she is resting peacefully. She will be greatly missed. Roxanne is survived by her parents, Don and Angela Belden; daughter, Cheyenne Grauman; fiancee', Gordon Greene; brother, Eric and Cindy Belden; sister, Tina and Paul Laws; exchange student/sister, Marie Dybkjaer; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Mallory Cemetery, Pastor Ray Brown officiating. Memorials may be made in Roxanne's name to Wings of Hope Hospice, 530 Linn Street, Allegan, Michigan 49010 or to Roxanne's Family (c/o Don Belden) to assist with funeral costs. Interment at Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Township.
