of Allegan, died Sunday, February 1, 2009, at the Ely Manor Nursing Home in Allegan. Mrs. Southard was born, December 1, 1908, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Stefano and Mary (Ciaccio) Mancuso. She had been a member of the United Methodist Church for over 45 years. She was a 4 - H leader for many years, and was also a life member of the Eagles. Surviving are her son-in-law, Ray Kinney of Allegan, her daughter-in-law, Karen Southard of Muskegon, 3 grandchildren; Sue and Scott Parsons of Otsego, Jerry and Cathy Kinney of Hopkins and Sara Kinney and Mike O'Connell of Allegan, 5 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Dorothy Lickley of Allegan, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, her daughter Marie Kinney, her son, John Southard, and many brothers and sisters. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday from 11 am until service time at 1 pm at the United Methodist Church in Allegan. Pastor Robert Stover will officiate.
