Allegan Twp., MI, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mrs. Schulz was born Dec. 4, 1923 in Shelbyville, the daughter of George and Anna (Tamminga) Talsma. Surviving are 1 daughter and her husband, Gayle and Richard Elsasser of Texas; 3 grandchildren, Lani and Terrence Payne, Rich Elsasser and Erin and David Gates, 2 great-grandchildren, Andrea and Gianna; 3 brothers, Mart and Aline Talsma, Bill and JoAnne Talsma and Dutch and Jan Talsma; 1 sister, Ann and Steve Leep; son-in-law, Jack (Stella) Dailey; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Mark and Millie Stull. Mrs. Schulz was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlene Greer Dailey and 3 brothers, Andrew, John and Nick Talsma. Cremation has taken place. There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
