Obituary

Allegan, MI, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mrs. Kimball was born January 29, 1917 in Benton Harbor, the daughter of Frank and Maria (Zongari) Pullano. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for 50 years. She had owned and operated her own beauty shop, had worked at Hiatt's Dept. Store for many years and had been an Avon representative for 25 years. She loved gardening and was a devoted wife for 63 years to her husband, George, who survives. Also surviving are 1 sister, Grace Barrett of California; numerous beloved nieces and nephews including Darlene (Terry) Mosher and Maryann Bovo, and several grand nieces and nephews; many special neighbors and care givers. She was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters, Samuel, Ross, Bert, Nick, Phil, and Joseph Pullano, Josephine Kimball, Virginia Reed and Clementine Kenney. Friends may meet with the family from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Alan P. Jorgensen, Celebrant. Private family interment at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI at a later date. Contributions may be made to the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church..
