of Allegan, died Monday, April 9, 2012 at Ely Manor. Mrs. Hayes was born January 3, 1921 in Cheshire Twp., the daughter of Robert and Jesse (Kenney) Blaha. Rose worked most of her life, including jobs at Rockwell Int. in Allegan, and the Kalamazoo State Hospital. She was a member of the Allegan Bible Church for many years. Surviving are her brother, Robert Karl and Mary Jane Blaha of Gobles, 13 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert, and her brother, John, and 3 sisters; Alice, Marie, and Edith. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 13, at 3 pm at Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Twp., Pastor Robert Cosby will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Allegan Bible Church, or Ely Manor Nursing Home. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
