Allegan, MI, died Monday, May 15, 2006 in Los Alamitos, California. Mrs. Gibson was born September 14, 1913 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of George and Grace (Hait) Bridgman. She was a graduate of Allegan High School and had retired from the Sears Catalog Store in Allegan after many years of service. Surviving are 1 daughter, Sue Canfield, of Garden Grove, CA; 9 grandchildren and their spouses; 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton, in 1986, son, Bruce, sister, Daisy Scamehorn, brother, Jim Bridgman and son-in-law, Bud Canfield. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Rev. Fr. Jerome M. Heyman O.S.A. officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
