of Allegan, died Saturday, September 4, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. Ron was born March 22, 1957 in Allegan, the son of Robert and Depoline Stratton Sherwood. He retired from Parker Hannifin Corp, Brass Division, in Otsego, in 2010, after 31 years of service. He loved to travel with his family around the Upper Peninsula, and enjoyed the outdoors. Surviving are his wife, Michelle, 3 children, Ron Jr. and Amy Sherwood of Pullman, Ashley and Matt McKee, and Casey Rickli and Rebeka McWilliams all of Allegan, 4 grandchildren, his father, Robert Sherwood of Allegan, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Depoline, his daughter, Sebrina, and his sister, Genevieve. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, September 8, from 10-12 and 2-4 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the funeral service will be held at 4 pm.
