Valley Twp., Allegan, MI, died Monday, August 16, 2004 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mr. Richardson was born January 12, 1937 in Chicago, IL, the son of Edgar and Ruth (Fry) Richardson. He had been employed by Rockwell International for 30 years, retiring in 1988 and later working for Sherwin Williams. He was a cub scout leader for West Ward Elementary, was a member of the Allegan Volunteer Fire Dept. and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife, Susan; 3 children, Randy (Tina) Richardson of Allegan, Terry Richardson of Michigan, and Cindy Arnett of Allegan; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 3 sisters and 2 brothers, Jeane (Warren) Young of Alpena, Sharon (Bill) Abraham of Gobles, Nadine Hershman, and Dan and Dave Richardson, both of Gobles; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son. Memorial graveside services will be held Friday, Aug. 20, at 11 a.m. at Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Twp., MI. Pastor Fred Perry officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
