Ronald K. Lancaster, 71 of Hamilton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at his home. Mr. Lancaster was born February 26, 1945 in Williamsport, Indiana to the late Morris and Jessie (Anderson) Lancaster. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. In 1981 he married Paula Howard and the two were blessed to be able to build their life around their family and their Lord. His working years were spent as an EMT for Wayland Ambulance, working at Sandy Pines Resort and serving as Pastor for Antioch Fellowship Center in Burnips, Michigan for 32 years. Ron devoted his life to his family and in service to the community, often referring to himself as an authorized agent of the Lord Jesus Christ. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life and spending time with them was his greatest joy. He also enjoyed fishing and if he could spend time with his grandkids and fish - perfect! Ron was a giving and generous person who never hesitated to help those in need. His unselfish nature and gentle spirit will be missed greatly by his family and friends. Heaven has truly gained a precious soul. Ron is survived by the love of his life, his loving and devoted wife, Paula; their children: Donna (Darrell) Lancaster-Holdway, Amy (John) Lancaster-Ryan, Brandon (Becky) Kury, Keith Lancaster, and Pastor Jason (Pam) Lancaster; 6 grandchildren: Emily Kury, Sydney Hansen, Brandi Kury, Zoey Lancaster, Amaya Garcia and Joey Kury; and his brother, Rodney Lancaster and several nieces and nephews that meant the world to him. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Carroll Eugene Lancaster; and his sister, Debbie Swart. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 2-6pm at Gorden Funeral, Hopkins Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 7 at 11am at the Antioch Fellowship Center in Hamilton (3925 37th St., Hamilton, MI 49419). Memorial donations may be made in Ron's name to the Antioch Fellowship Center. Interment at Salem Township Cemetery, Salem Township.
