Obituary

Ronald Lee Farmer went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the age of 70. Ron was born on March 5, 1951 (as a twin) to the late Robert and Norma Jean (Brindley) Farmer. He was a life-long resident of Allegan, graduating from Allegan High School in the Class of 1969. Ron worked for Fuller Transmission in Kalamazoo until it closed and then went to General Motors as a machine repairman where he retired from. On October 9, 1993, Ron married Debra (Mancuso) in Allegan. They were blessed with two sons, Tyler and Travis. Ron loved cars (new, classic, antique) and was good at working on them, a gift he passed on to his sons. He even worked on restoring a 1926 Model T with his dad which they bought in pieces. Ron also enjoyed spending winters in Florida with Deb. The memories made will forever be cherished. Ron is survived by his wife and his sons as well as sister, Roxanne (Dean) Nevenzel; brothers-in-law, Steve (Deb) Mancuso and Burt Mancuso. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Zachary (Calandra) Nevenzel, Emily (Kelly) Colborn, Ashley (Juan) Suarez, Arlen Farmer, Cee-Jay Mancuso, Anthony Mancuso, Dan (Erin) Mancuso & Meredith (Caleb) Vanderhill. Ron was also very proud of his grand nieces and nephews, Garrett & Lydia Colborn, Alexander and Zulay Suarez. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, his twin brother, Donald (passing away shortly after birth), great nephew, Haven Suarez; and his beloved dog, Koffy.
