Page, Roger D., 67, of Allegan, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Mr. Page was born September 13, 1948 in Allegan, the son of the late Morris E. and Mary J. (Jones) Page. Roger was an Allegan High School Class of 1967 graduate. He enjoyed the guitar and by the age of 14, had taught himself how to play. It was a great pastime of his which led to playing in many small bands around the area. Roger was a U.S. Veteran of the Army serving two tours in Vietnam. He was also a POW, receiving two purple hearts. Roger worked for over 40 years at Crescent Metal Products Co. in Allegan. He and his wife, the late Nancy Jo Page, raised three children together. Roger loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Roger is survived by his children: Amy and T.J. Barrett, Shaunna Page, and Jennifer Page; 8 grandchildren: Cassandra, Trevor, Tarrena, Zana, Margaret, Camden, Evan, and Lillian; 1 great-grandchild, William; 2 brothers: Dean and Carol Page, Keith and Teressa Page; 1 nephew, Jason; 3 nieces: Christine, Merisa, and Lisa. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jo; his parents, Morris and Mary; 1 brother, Mike; and 1 granddaughter, Amy. Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, June 9 from 12 - 1 pm at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the funeral service will take place at 1 pm, Pastor Patrick White officiating. Memorials may be made in Roger's name to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org), 1400 W. Milham, Portage, MI 49024. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery with a full military graveside service.
