of Allegan, died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at her home. Sally was born March 12, 1944, in Allegan, the daughter of Henry and Rozella (Gordon) Sherwood. She graduated from Otsego High School in 1961. She attended Merson Church, and worked for Tru-Heat for over 22 years. Sally volunteered for 3 years at Seeds of Grace Clinic, now called Renewed Hope, in Allegan. Surviving are her 5 son's; Brian and Beverly, Trent, Tim and Laura, David and Jenny, and Kevin and Cheryl, 22 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; David Sherwood and Paul "Doc" Sherwood, 5 sisters; Sue Cade, Pat Halstead, Becky Lidster, Roxanne Gates, and Robin Moran, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her 3 brothers; Mike, Jerry and Joe. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, June 26, from 6-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. There will be no public funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Renewed Hope.
