Rodney Darl DeHaan was born October 16, 1951 in Allegan, MI and went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 17, 2016 at the Allegan County Medical Care Community. Rod was a 1969 graduate of Allegan High School. He worked at Checker Cab, Rockwell International and SP Industries in Hopkins. He is survived by his wife, Janis (Banks); his sons: Daniel (Brittany) of Holland, Jason (Kristin) Hileski of Roebuck, SC; his grandchildren: Amelia and Avery DeHaan and Christopher, Ashley, Dillon (Jessica), Devin, Michael and Noah Hileski; and great-grandchildren: Emma, Caiden and Carson. His siblings are: Yvonne (Dave) Reimink, Tim (Sue), Mike (Sue), Marc (Jan), all of Allegan, and Kathy (Scott) Groenewoud of West Olive; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Marie; granddaughter, Devon Brooke; parents, George and Geraldine (Grigsby); and brother, Randy (Michelle of La Verne, CA). The family would like to acknowledge the many caregivers Rod has had over the last twenty three years. What a blessing they were in his life. A Memorial Service to be scheduled at a later date.
