age 90, of Allegan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Wings Home, surrounded by her family. Roberta was born in Bloomingdale, Michigan on September 8, 1924 and raised on her family's farm. Roberta was a great daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved gardening and flower arranging. She was an avid baker and won blue ribbons at the Allegan County Fair for her rolls and pies. She loved nature and enjoyed watching and feeding the wildlife around her home. She loved her walks with her neighbors. She loved reading. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and was involved in the ladies fellowship for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, The Reverend Charles and Rena Pease. Roberta is survived by her husband Robert, the love of her life for seventy years; her three children: Sandy Carlson, Kathy and Daryl Knight, Judy and Dave Selent; her seven grandchildren: Angela, Scott, Becky, Kristy, Carrie, Cory, Brandon; her seven great-grandchildren: Bryn, John, Jacob, Ethan, Riley, Mina, and Max. Roberta's family would like to invite you to visit with them on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 6-8:00 P.M. at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, 528 Trowbridge Street, Allegan, Michigan 49010. The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Congregational Church of Allegan, 323 Cutler Street, Allegan, Michigan 49010. Pastor Barry Lucas will be officiating.
