Robert (Bob) William Arthur, 72, of Allegan passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan after a brief illness.

Born on April 10, 1953, in Allegan, Michigan, Bob was the first of five children of the late Robert E. and Joan M. (Roberts) Arthur.

Bob was a life-long fabricator and welder. He enjoyed watching Nascar and had the "need for speed". If it had wheels and an engine including drag cars, lawnmowers, go-carts, RC cars, HO cars, he wanted to and could make it go faster.

Bob is survived by his daughter Brandy (Eric) Porter and stepdaughter Tammy (Doug) Cassady-Ranger, Siblings: Margaret Arthur, Tim (Kim) Arthur, Ken (Michele) Arthur and Jay (Stephanie) Arthur, Grandchildren: James Breed, Samantha Breed and Wyatt Cassady, Nieces and Nephews: Carleigh (Tyler) Akerman, Seth (Anna) Arthur, Damien (Kelsey) Arthur and Blair (Marissa Myers) Arthur as well as Great Nieces: Brinley Arthur and Makelti Ackerman.

He is preceded in death by his parents and stepdaughter Michelle Cassady.

Per Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family burial will be held at a later date.
