Robert Weick, 89, of Shelbyville, MI passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 at American House Assisted Living in Jenison. Born June 15, 1930 in Allegan, he was the son of the late Frederick Jacob and Maude Mae (Dendel) Weick and was the husband of the late Ruth Ann (Schumaker)Weick. Mr. Weick was a member of Shelbyville United Methodist Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved to go hunting at the family cabin. He was proud of his registered Holsteins and enjoyed selling his homegrown fruits and visiting with friends at the area farmer's markets. Mr. Weick is survived by his children, Dan (Mickey Cerajewski) Weick, Debra (the late Jim) Brenner, Thomas (Jill Martin) Weick and Nancy (Russell) Compagner; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Along with his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald, Vernon and Melbourne "Meb". The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 11:00 AM with burial in Poplar Hill Cemetery.
