Allegan, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at the Allegan General Hospital. Rob was born December 1, 1962, in Allegan, the son of Raymond and Marjorie (Caldwell) Truax. He graduated from Allegan High School in 1981. He was a Boy Scout, having achieved the level of Eagle Scout. He worked for many years at B & C Emporium and most recently at Walmart. He loved High School sports and seldom missed a home basketball or football game and was given an Honorary Letter in 2009. Surviving are 3 sisters, Marguerite and Blake Perrigo of Allegan, Jeanne and Ronald Plummer of Arkansas and Eilene and Hanford Brink of Allegan; 1 brother-in-law, Terry and Nancy Brink of Allegan; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Brink, and his parents. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Allegan. Pastor Robert Stover will officiate. Memorials may be made to Dollars for Scholars. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
