of Allegan, died Monday, August 29, 2011, at his home. Mr. Schneider was born April 20, 1935, in Holland, the son of Frank D. and Margaret (Riksen) Schneider. Bob was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was always good with his hands, and made a living as a mechanic, and a carpenter. He worked for Carl Goodwin and Son's for over 20 years, and Joe's Lawn and Garden for 8 years, as well as building several homes. Surviving are his wife, Mary Belle, 5 children; Inez Clemens, Randy Parrish, Sherrie Horton, Frank Schneider, and Margaret Christman all of Allegan, 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 brothers; Frank, and Albert, 7 sisters; Kathy and Walt Creech, Jackie Peck, Betty Schneider, Millie Schneider, Ruth Schneider, Elaine Schneider, Barb Walker, many nieces, nephews, cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Alice, and 4 brothers; Henry, Bill, Dan, and Bub. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 2pm, at the Eagles Lodge in Allegan. Memorials may be made to the Adult Generation Day Care at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility or Wings of Hope Hospice. Arrangements by the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel.
