Robert R. Schmitz, 73 of Allegan, died Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at Metron of Allegan. Mr. Schmitz was born May 15, 1929 in Otsego, MI the son of Otto and Carlotta (Berry) Schmitz. He was a professional show dog handler. Surviving are his wife, Cheri; 1 son, Barry D. Schmitz; 1 grandson, Michael; all of Allegan. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael. The family will greet friends Saturday at 12 Noon until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 pm at the GORDEN FUNERAL RESIDENCE, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Barry Lucas officiating.
