73, of Allegan, died Saturday, February 09, 2013 at Wings Home. Le Roy was born on March 6, 1939 in Hopkins Township, Michigan, the son of Paul and Una (Jones) Delp. Le Roy was an owner/operator that drove truck for Behnke almost 15 years and Maverick for almost a year. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. and a member of the American Legion of Allegan. You could always tell by which cars were or were not in the driveway as to whether Le Roy was on the road, in the house watching Old Movies, especially Westerns, and/or Nascar, or if he had the boat and was out fishing. Le Roy always made sure to never miss the Super Bowl. You could also find Le Roy and his family at the house every Saturday night playing poker. Le Roy is survived by his wife Margaret, whom he was married for 54 years; his children: Diana Delp, Le Roy (Laura) Delp, Marion Hutchinson, Joseph Delp; his grandchildren: Donald, Tyler; his great-grandchildren: Emily, Dakota; his brothers: Frank (Mary) Delp, Terry (Luanne) Delp, Mark Delp; his sisters: Sheila (Bert) Berthelson, Deborah (Dennis) Waigand. Leroy is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Una; Paul Delp, Charles Delp, and Tony Delp. Friends may meet with the family for a Remembrance Gathering on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 4-7 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. to conclude the evening, at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan.
