MASCHKE, Robert G. South Haven, MI, died Sunday, April 17, 2005 at Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven. Mr. Maschke was born June 16, 1931 in Hopkins, MI, the son of Gerald and Pearl (Snyder) Maschke. Surviving are 3 children, Dianna VanDenBerg of Bloomingdale, Doreen Maschke of South Haven and Denise (Steve) Briggs of Vicksburg; 6 grandchildren, Angelina, Patrick, Linnea, Amiee, Tony and Elizabeth; 4 great-grandchildren, Brady, Alexia, Brekken and Tristen; 1 brother, James Maschke of Plainwell; 2 sisters, Lois Chambers of Kentucky and Patricia (Dale) Commans of Allegan; 1 aunt, Genevieve Snyder of Holland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda. According to his wishes, Mr. Maschke's body was donated to the University of Michigan Medical School. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 30 at 10 a.m. at the Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints Church in South Haven. Contributions may be given to the family.
