LOLL, Robert C. Allegan Twp., died Monday, March 4, 2002 at Metron of Kalamazoo. Mr. Loll was born Aug. 10, 1925 in Cook County, IL, the son of Charles and Rose (Engel) Loll. He was a graduate of Gobles High School, Class of 1943. He had served in the Army Air Corp during WWII and had been a member of the Wayland V.F.W. He had been employed by Rockwell Intl. for 30 years, retiring in 1976. Surviving are 3 children, Terry Loll of Allegan, Charyl and Larry Wallace of Dorr and Randy and Colleen Loll of Plainwell; 8 grandchildren, Caren, Branden, James, Lisa, Nick, Jeff, Tara and Jolene; 13 great grandchildren, with two more on the way; 1 son-in-law, Stanley Brouwer of Allegan; 1 sister-in-law, Esther and Howard Teed of Allegan; 1 niece, Marilyn Brown of New York; 1 nephew, Don and Ruth Schulz of South Haven. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, daughter, Nancy, and granddaughter, Emily. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. There will be no funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayland V.F.W. or the WWII Veteran Memorial Fund.
