Allegan, MI, died Tuesday, May 27, 2003 in Kalamazoo. Mr. Housworth was born Jan. 9, 1927 in Allegan, the son of Earl and Birdie (Sprague) Housworth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during WWII. He had been employed at Rockwell for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He enjoyed camping, traveling and fishing and was a member of the Pioneers Camping Club and the FCRV. Surviving are his wife, Darline; 3 sons and their wives, David and Connie Housworth of Allegan, Paul and Bonnie Housworth of Holland and Philip and Brenda Housworth of Allegan; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Earl, in 1977. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Pastor Joseph Spackman officiating.
