age 82, from Allegan, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born August 11, 1932 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the son of Lawrence and Freida (Bloxon) Hall. Robert liked to garden and shared the plentiful vegetables that he grew with friends and family. He enjoyed woodworking, and had a knack for building birdhouses. He always took time to fill the bird feeders and is remembered as often saying, "need to feed God's birdies." During the summer he would spend a lot of time at the family cottage, fishing and patrolling the lake on his pontoon. In general, he enjoyed putzing around on his hobby farm and helping his kids with projects at their homes. Robert is survived by his children: Greg Hall, Carol (Chris) Wiley, Mike (Janet Patterson) Hall, Patrick Hall; his granddaughter Jennie; and his sister Colleen Stapert. He is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife of 56 years, Connie. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral at 1:00 P.M. at the First Congregational Church, 323 Cutler Street, Allegan, Michigan 49010.
