Robert Gene "Bob" Edwards, 80, of Hopkins, MI passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Born July 15, 1937 in Plainwell, he was the son of the late John Harold Edwards and Bernice (Streb) Edwards. Mr. Edwards had enjoyed many years farming prior to retirement. He was also a talented handyman and carpenter; he could fix or build just about anything. Mr. Edwards spent more than twenty years at his home in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where he was able to pursue his favorite pastimes, hunting and fishing, surrounded by nature's beauty. He is survived by his children, Al Edwards and wife Deb, Barb Edwards, Cathy Genther and husband Keith, and Dave Edwards and wife Deb; a sister, Lillian Jones; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. A celebration of Mr. Edward's life is being planned for a later date.
