60, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Wings Home in Allegan. Dale was born, July 3, 1955, in Allegan, Michigan, the son of Robert and Betty (Augustine) Barber. Dale was a Class of 1974 Allegan High School graduate. He loved being in the outdoors, especially if he was fishing or hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with the Allegan Assertive Community Treatment Team. Dale was a member of the Trowbridge United Methodist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. Surviving are his mother, Betty; his son, David Dale Barber.; 4 sisters, Nancy and Mark Gibson, Cathy Boysen, Sandy and Scott Gillette, Lori and Jay Drozd; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Barber; nephew, Justin Gillette, and brother-in-law, Mike Boysen. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 11 am - 12 pm, at the Trowbridge United Methodist Church, where the funeral will take place at noon. Pastor John Moore will be officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorials may be made to the Trowbridge United Methodist Church, 355 26th Street, Otsego, MI 49078.
