Robert M. Benson, 70 of Allegan, died Friday, March 21, 2003 at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility. Mr. Benson was born July 10, 1932 in Dunningville, MI the son of Samuel and Julia (Metzger) Benson. He was a graduate of the Michigan School of the Blind. Surviving are two sisters, Marguerite Bloss of Allegan, Marion Batey of Holland, several nieces and nephews, and helpful friends, Bill and Jan Morgan. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Private family services will be held Tuesday with burial in Brookside Cemetery, Dunningville. Pastor Joseph Spackman officiating.
