Cheshire Twp., Allegan, MI, died Monday, July 27, 2009 at his home. Rick was born September 6, 1958 in Allegan, the son of Richard and Sandra (Austin) Hodge. He was a graduate of Allegan High School, class of 1976 and served 2 years in the Navy Reserve. He had been employed at Perrigo's for 17 years as a journeyman electrician. He loved spending time with his family, collecting model classic cars and fishing. Surviving are 3 children, Ashley Hodge, Randy and Samantha Hodge, and Danielle and Mitch Ostrander, all of Allegan; 1 grandson, Preston Hodge and 1 grandson on the way; 1 sister, Candise Bowen of Allegan; 1 nephew and 1 niece, Chris Bowen and Erica Flagg. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dale Hodge. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Herb Curry officiating.
