Obituary

HISCOCK, Richard D. Allegan, MI, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002 at his home. Mr. Hiscock was born May 13, 1936 in Allegan, the son of Raymond B. and Hattie M. (DeShong) Hiscock. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. He loved hunting, fishing, trapping and sports and had coached ladies softball teams for many years. He had been employed by Rockwell Int'l. for 24 years as a machinist. Surviving are his wife, Lynn (Ebert); 2 daughters, Misty and Steve Angle of Allegan and Jade Hiscock of South Haven; 5 grandchildren, Brad, Ryan, Holly, Courtney and Ambrea; 1 brother, Robert and Ella Hiscock of Allegan; friend and sister-in-law, Jill James of Chicago; several nieces and nephews, including 2 special nieces, Sheri Paver, and Tammy and Dave Signorello, all of Chicago. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Camela Chelsea, 1 brother and 1 sister, Eugene Hiscock and Betty Starnes. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Pastor Joseph Spackman officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
