age 78, of Allegan, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Allegan County Medical Care Community. He was born October 16, 1935 in Otsego, Michigan the son of George and Viola (Minegar) Briggs. Richard was a member of Christ Community Church for many years. He graduated Otsego High School in 1954. Richard is survived by his beloved wife Doris; his daughters: Pam (Dennis) Reynolds, Ann Marie (Raymond Moored) Briggs, Susan (Kevin) Frazier; his grandchildren: Kimberly (Dave) Billman, Sarah Frazier; his sister Joyce (Richard) Clapp; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 4-7:00 P.M. at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. A Memorial Service for Richard will be designated to be held at Christ Community Church on a later date. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan.
