Valley Twp., Allegan, MI, died Thursday, March 27, 2003. Dick was born March 6, 1951 in Elkhorn, WI, the son of Luther and Ruby (Burton) Bill. He was an ACISD Board Member, had served as liaison between the County Board and PAC parents and was very active with the Allegan Co. Math and Science Center. He was Director of Engineering for Harding Energy in Norton Shores and had taught Industrial Electronics for many years at WMU, KVCC and the Allegan Co. Tech Center. Surviving are his wife, Jo (Nuyen); 2 children, Heather and Tim McElwee of Chapel Hill, NC and Stephanie Bill of Allegan; 2 stepchildren, Jodie and Eugene Reese of Gobles and James Mencarelli and Terri Rohrbacher of Manistee; 2 grandchildren, Megan and Timothy Reese; Mother, Ruby Bill, of Lake Geneva, WI; 1 brother, Mike and Karen Bill of Anchorage, AK; parents-in-law, Dale and Elsa Strickland of Galesburg; 2 sisters-in-law, Joy Hemmer of Portage and Joan and Dan White of Kalamazoo. He was preceded in death by his father. Friends may meet with the family from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. Interment Millgrove Cemetery, Valley Twp.
