QUERBACH, Rex. M. Allegan Twp., MI, died Monday, January 3, 2005 at his home. Mr. Querbach was born November 5, 1928 in Allegan, the son of Charles H. and Eva (Marshall) Querbach. He was a graduate of Allegan High School, class of 1946. He was a former member of the First Baptist Church and the Allegan Rotary Club. He had owned and operated Querbach Cleaners and Leather Processing from 1956 - 1985. Surviving are his wife, Mavis (Hagerman); 3 children, Dianna Bittner of Holland, Craig Querbach of Grand Haven, and Lori (James) Yonkman of Kalamazoo; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 2 brothers, Glenn (June) Querback of Allegan and Wayne (Jean) Querbach of Conroe, TX; 3 sisters, Evelyn (Clyde) Walters of Kalamazoo, Vivian Holiday of Kalamazoo, Susan (Clair) Kuiper of Portage. He was preceded in death by his sister, Wilma Laurin, and brother-in-law, Wayne Holiday. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where memorial services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Pastor James H. Turner officiating. Interment Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Assoc. or American Heart Assoc.
