Coffindaffer, Rex K. Of Otsego, died Saturday, October 11, 2003 at the Metron Nursing Home in Allegan. Mr. Coffindaffer was born November 15, 1924 in Ritchie County, West Virginia, the son of Joseph & Lucy (Bailey) Coffindaffer. Rex was a Veteran of the United States Army, he worked for General Motors in Kalamazoo for over 28 years, retiring in the mid-80's. Surviving are, his companion, Myrt Broadhurst, 4 sons & their spouses; David & Diane of Fennville, Daniel & Karen of Allegan, Thomas & Terri of Hopkins and James & Melody of Allegan, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Woodrow and 2 sisters, Eleanor Melvin and Peg O'Hale. Friends may meet with the family on Monday from 5-8 pm at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, www.gordenfuneral.com, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am. Pastor Jon Looman from Faith Baptist will officiate. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Twp. Memorials may be made to the Allegan Ministrial Assoc.for Children's Needs.
