Grand Rapids, MI, formerly of Allegan, died Sunday, October 23, 2005 at Heartland Health Care Center in Grand Rapids. Mrs. Wilcox was born November 9, 1915 in Allegan, MI, the daughter of Harry and Lena (Brownell) Benjamin. She had been a librarian at the Grand Rapids Public Library for more than 40 years. Surviving are 2 children and their spouses, Gary and Cathlene Wilcox of Allegan and Joyce and Tom VanNeal of Sparta; 1 stepdaughter, Dorothy Winn of Grand Rapids; 4 grandchildren, Kim, Kelly, Tammy and Michelle; 8 great grandchildren; 1 step granddaughter, several step great grandchildren; 1 sister, Avis Hodge of Illinois; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. Graveside memorial services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Allegan. Rev. James VanderRoest officiating.
