Raymond Earl Sanders, 86 of Allegan, Michigan, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his home. Born in Logan, Ohio on November 19, 1933, he was the son the late Earl and Golda Marie (Pargeon) Sanders and the husband of the late Patricia (Hiscock) Sanders. Raymond and his wife, Patricia, were lifetime members of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He proudly served in United States Army in the Screaming Eagles 101st Airborne Division. Raymond was a hard worker who used his talents to build houses throughout his entire life, while also working at Blood Brothers, later known as Rockwell International. Being an avid golfer, he enjoyed nothing more than spending time after work at the golf course. Raymond was also known for loving a good hug! Raymond is survived by his children, Marie (Todd) Esterline, Patrick Sanders, Mike Sanders, Sam (Kimberly) Sanders and Raymond (Melissa) Sanders; his grandchildren, Justin, Meghan, Rebecca, Jackie, Jerri, Donnie, Samantha, Travis, Crystal and Autumn; and his ten great-grandchildren. Along with his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Anne Ochampaugh; his grandson, Patrick; and his siblings, Jeanette (Stanley) Peterson, Eileen "June" (Robert) Graves, Kathryn (Arthur) Traxler, Robert (Sherry) Sanders and Letha (Michael) Krcatovich. The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM, with the rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Simon Manjooran celebrant. Memorial donations may be made in Raymond's name to Wings of Hope Hospice, 530 Linn Street, Allegan, MI 49010. Burial to take place in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery, Allegan, Michigan.
