Raymond Lee Hitchcock, 56, of Allegan, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026, at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo.

Raymond was born August 20, 1969, in Allegan to Richard Hitchcock Sr. and Lillian (Christman) Hitchcock.

Raymond had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in sharing that passion with his children. He especially enjoyed camping, boating, snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing, creating lasting memories with his family. Passing down his appreciation for nature meant a great deal to him, and it brought him immense happiness to see his children embrace those same experiences.

He is survived by his parents, Richard and Lillian Hitchcock; his children, BrookAnn (Matthew) Holly, Levi Hitchcock, and Beau Hitchcock; and his siblings, Candy Hitchcock, Carol (Jay) Agy, and Richard (Diane) Hitchcock Jr., and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Raymond is preceded in death by his grandparents, La Verne and Ruth Hitchcock and Leroy and Janice Christman.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Swan Lake Store and Campground, 658 42nd Street, Allegan, MI 49010.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to his children.

Raymond will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.
