Raymond Edward Burza, Jr. passed away unexpectedly at the age of 62 on Thursday, August 23, 2018. Ray was born in Paw Paw, Michigan on February 12, 1956 to Raymond and Shirley (Hoger) Burza, Sr. Along with his parents, Ray is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cristy (Sprague) Burza, three sons, Matthew (Carrie) Burza, Christopher Burza and Ryan (Bobbi) Burza and grandson Logan; siblings, Julie (Chet) Boothby, Chuck Burza and Cheryl (Rick) Kroeg and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Ray graduated in 1974 from Gobles High School. He was involved in band, drama and many math and science classes. He later graduated from KVCC as a Respiratory Therapist and worked at Bronson, Allegan, Borgess and Select Specialty Hospitals. He was retired at the time of his death. Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM, Rev. Fr. Simon Manjooran officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Ray's name to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 110 N. Cedar Street, Allegan, MI 49010. Inurnment to take place at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Cemetery.
