Cheshire Twp., Allegan, MI, died Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the Allegan General Hospital. Mr. O'Neil was born September 13, 1939 in Chicago, IL, the son of Ralph W. Sr. and Elizabeth (Clemons) O'Neil. He had served in the National Guard for several years and was pastor of the God-Kind of Faith Ministry. Surviving are his wife, Dawn (McGinnis); 8 children, Daryl and Denise O'Neil, Brian and Carla O'Neil, James Johnson, Toni Thornton, Jenee' Moore and Jackie Betts, all of Chicago, and adopted children, Theo VanNiekerk and Janiene VanNiekerk, both of South Africa; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 wives, Odessa Deloris (Johnson) and Dorothy (Smith). Friends may meet with the family from 12 noon Thursday until time of service at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel. Pastor Mary Hoots officiating.
